The Retirement of The Global Trend Section
2 years ago, we added the global trends section because some trends are so new, we couldn’t create a chart for it. There literally wasn’t any 12-month data for us to pull. To solve this problem, we just showcased these trends in text form.
Are we getting rid of all of these categories?
No, we are actually going to look for creative ways to chart these trends for your benefit.
Having trends in text form is nice but its hard for you, as the user to know if it is still trending or not.
We will re-add the affected categories over time but this is one of many changes we are making to make our platform more valuable & accurate.
