Imagine getting paid for posting memes on YouTube. No clocking into shifts, or working in the heat or cold. Instead, you can work from the comfort of your bed, just by reposting memes.
Believe it or not one of my first few successful YouTube channels was a meme page where I would take content from Instagram & repost on YouTube.
It takes a bit of effort, but it is easy to get momentum. Once momentum is built, things will get a lot easier from there. In this article I am going to show you how to grow a meme page on YouTube in 3 simple steps
Picking your niche
Creating a plan
Executing your plan & catching trends
Picking Your Meme Niche
Wait but isn’t memes my niche? Yes and no!
To simplify the process & accelerate your growth, you must define your niche even further. There are a lot of sub-niches within the niche genre. Here go a list of a few we could name off the top of our head.
- Dank Memes
- MLG Memes
- Deep-fried Memes
- Nuked memes
- Reddit memes
- Tumblr memes
- Doodle memes
- Normie memes
- Offensive memes
- Instagram memes
- Facebook memes
- Dad/Mom memes
As you can see, this list could go on forever. To keeps things simple, pick 2-3 sub-niches from the list above or from your personal preferences.
Picking more than our recommended amount will overwhelm you, and less will make it harder for your meme page YouTube channel to grow.
After you have picked 2-3 sub-niches to focus on, you are now ready to create a video uploading schedule.
Creating A Plan
This step is extremely important. After consulting hundreds of content creators, those that skipped this step almost always failed.
Creating an uploading schedule is extremely easy & will help you reach your end goal 10 times faster if you can create one and stick to it.
So how do we do this? Simple, follow the steps below.
Pick 2-3 days out of your week you can dedicate some time to YouTube. Next, you want to assign your sub meme niches to each of these days. Keep on doing this until you have 1 month of content planned. It should look something like this.

By planning your content ahead of time, will help you start to visualize you already achieving your goal of running a successful YouTube meme page.
Executing Your Plan & Catching Trends
Well, now that your plan is ready, its time to get to work. Nobody changed the world by sitting in their bed!
This is the part where a lot of people get stuck. They know what to do, but subconsciously, they are too scared to take the leap into the unknown.
The first 10 videos you will upload to your meme page YouTube channel are going to be very hard. But every upload after that, things will start to get easier.
That’s how most things work in life.
After you start to build a bit of momentum on your meme channel, its time to start using trends to grow your channel exponentially.
Using Trending Memes
The key to growing a meme page YouTube channel fast is taking advantage of new memes early when there is little to no competition.
Doing this will allow you video to rank high on YouTube for that particular keyword. When the trend goes viral, your videos & YouTube channel will get a quick boost of views & subscribers from that trend.
I used this technique multiple times on my meme page YouTube channels, and was able to reach over 20 million unique viewers across all of my meme compilations.
Getting your first viral video with trends is hard, but after you’ve done it once, it gets much easier and easier to get.
You can expect to start seeing a video go viral after you have over 20+ videos that have been up for more than 1 – 3 months. This is usually how many videos it takes to get a viral video on a meme page.
Without taking advantage of recent trends, it will be hard growing a YouTube channel around memes since a lot of people do not like “old” or “stale” memes.
To sum this article in one sentence. Pick your niche, create a plan & stick to it while experimenting with different trends. As someone who has created a successful meme page, it really just comes down to showing up. Everything else will fall into place.
