Your purpose will be the foundation of your startups YouTube channel. Creating a channel without a clear purpose or goal will make growing your brand’s presence difficult, time-consuming & confusing.

Creating A YouTube Game Plan
When growing a start-up, your energy may be focused on other things such as customer service, improving the product or service and a million other things as well.
I want you to put effort into YouTube but not too much to where it distracts you from something more important.
How am I going to do this? Easy, create a simple uploading schedule!
When creating an uploading schedule you want to first pick a few days out of the week you can set aside an hour or two for YouTube. For start-ups, we recommended picking 1-2 days out of the week.
Any more than this will overwhelm you & less than that will make it harder to grow on YouTube.
After you have picked 1-2 days out of the week, its time to plan your content. This is where the purpose of your channel comes into play.
Read the purpose of your channel again & think of video ideas that relate to your start-up’s product or service.
Next you want to assign these video ideas to the days of the week you have set aside for YouTube. Keep on doing this till you have planned content 1 month in advance. It should look something like this.

Executing Your Plan
This is the part where a lot of people tend to freeze up. They have created their plan & are eager to start, but at the same time they are scared to post their first video. Its almost like they are scared of the unknown.
This is the number one killer of YouTube channels.
So how do we avoid this? Simple, follow my instructions below.
Before you start executing your plan, you want to post 2-3 videos showing your face, talking about your start-up & your channels mission/purpose.
Doing this simple exercise will make it a lot easier to start executing your video uploading schedule. It will help you build momentum, to start achieving great things on YouTube & generate sales.
As a YouTube consultant, I’ve noticed that the students who were able to complete this exercise always did better overall as far as views, subscribers & more importantly sales. Do not skip this step.
YouTube is an easy platform. All you have to do is post video, and the algorithm will handle the rest. Too many people focus on the small stuff. My advice is to just get it out there. Success is just 80% showing up!
