How To Spot Trends Within Your Niche

Before you start researching for trends, you must have your niche established. This will make it easier for you to get your first viral video on YouTube.

Once you have your niche established, it time to start looking for trends.

How do we do this exactly? Simple, follow the steps below.

First you need to make a list of credible sources you can check daily for anything new within your niche. Here go a list of the most common places.

  • Forums
  • YouTube channels
  • Blogs
  • Websites
  • Conferences
  • Predictions
  • News

There are many more places you can look, but create a list of around 3 – 7 sources you can check daily.

After your sources are established, you need to review them daily to see if there is anything new within your niche. If there is, create a video about it.

When you look at most successful YouTube channels, they all have systems in place to post videos in mass.

This allows them to post trendy content fast without losing video quality. Major channels can do this through video series.

Take about 5 – 15min to brainstorm 3 video series you can run on your YouTube channel.

After these video series are brainstormed, you now want to pick 3 days out of the week you can dedicate some time to YouTube.

Assign each of these video series ideas to one day. Keep doing this until you have a months worth of content planned. We recommend using Google Sheets for this task. It should look something like this.
