A good company to look at is Spotify. In the year 2019, Spotify spent over $404 million dollars in acquiring companies in the podcast space.

For Blog Owners/Content Creators Content creators and blog owners have it the easiest in this space due to their audience that already exists (if you have one). All you would need to do is setup a few things and your ready to start monetizing your podcast.
